During Decathlon Premier Padel, the best padel players in the world will compete against each other in Rotterdam Ahoy from September 9 to 15. Besides couples from the FIP ranking, there are a number of wildcards available for the tournament. Peakz Padel, KNLTB and Premier Padel want to offer everyone the opportunity to participate in the Decathlon Premier Padel Rotterdam P1 tournament.

• For the men, 48 couples will play. Of these, the top 37 couples in the FIP rankings are seeded, 8 couples come from qualification and 3 wildcards for Dutch couples are available. The qualifying schedule is schedule 32 with 2 wildcards for Dutch Couples.
• For the ladies, the main schedule is 32, of which the best 27 couples on the FIP rankings are placed, 4 couples come from qualification and 1 wildcard is available for a Dutch couple. The qualifying schedule is then 16 with 1 wildcard.

Wildcards main schedule

Wildcards in the main draw will be distributed based on the FIP ranking on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2024:

• The 3 highest ranked Dutch couples on the FIP Ranking List in the men's event will receive a wildcard from the organization for the master schedule
• The highest-ranked Dutch couple on the FIP Ranking List in the ladies' category will receive a wildcard from the organization for the master schedule
• The rules within Decathlon Premier Padel Rotterdam P1 stipulate, that the wildcards available are only available to all-Dutch couples.
• To qualify for these wildcards, couples must register via the KNLTB wildcard procedure

Wildcard qualifying schedule

For the wildcards of the qualification schedule, a wildcard tournament will be organized at 4 locations of Peakz Padel in the Netherlands. On July 13 and 14 the tournament will take place in Eindhoven, Groningen, Heemskerk and Utrecht. The wildcard tournament consists of schedule 16 for both the men and the women. The winners of the wildcard tournament will advance to the national finals at Peakz Padel Utrecht on August 23 and 24, 2024.

The 4 highest ranked couples on the Dutch ranking list who register are qualified for the main schedule (schedule 8) which will be played on August 23 and 24, 2024 at Peakz Padel Utrecht. The 2 men's finalists and the ladies' winner will eventually earn a wildcard for the qualification tournament at Decathlon Premier Padel Rotterdam P1. Should the winner or the number 2 (in the men's event) end up receiving a wildcard for the main draw based on his FIP Ranking, the wildcard will move on to the one who 2^e or 3^e become eligible for the wildcard tournament. The same applies if a Dutch pair is already automatically admitted to the main schedule or qualifications based on his or her ranking.

Registration for the wildcard tournaments is open through July 3.
